55 Year Old Disabled Woman Seeks Government Grant Or Loan To Save Family

by Anne Spink
(Farimead, CA, USA)

I am a 55-year-old disabled woman. I need a loan or grant to save my truck and home but most of all my marriage and family.

Up until the 4th of December 2009, I had my mother-in-law living with me. The small amount I was paid on top of my SSDI check helped keep things in check.

My husband is a long haul truck driver whose income has also been cut back. We had to move Mom to a home for her care. It was a very hard thing to do.

I want to help catch up on our bills with a grant instead of having to divorce and end 28 years of marriage just to make more cash with SSI.

PLEASE help me save my marriage and my home and keep my family unit together.

Hi,

I'm terribly sorry that you?re going through all of this. I feel for you. You sound like an incredible woman, strong, intelligent and loving. You can get through this.

The story you posted is a great start! Some of the information may inhibit grant opportunities, and may need to be edited a little. The part about the SSI I would omit.

Additional tips: Include any skills you have, or volunteer activities, past or present. Also, mentioning affiliations with some businesses could lead you to being directed to grants.

There are emergency funds available for people with low incomes. There are also funds/grants for artist/writers and can be applied for on the second Friday of each month called: ADAPT, Accessible Disability... Program.

Don't give up your marriage. That is something that you'll always regret. But, I understand exactly what you?re going through with all of that. It places families in limbo, and no matter how much work is being done each day, those problems stew on the stove and sometimes, they boil over.

Do you like computers?

Have you tried things like: creating a blog page and placing advertisements on it like: ClickBank Ads, Kontera Ads, Google Ads -- (good one), yahoo, eBay, and Amazon book ads (sponsor or associate accounts). They allow you to place product images/descriptions on your blogs, when they are clicked, you earn! When a visitor buys something they saw on your blog, you earn a lot more!

Good luck to you. God bless you and your family, always.

Sincerely,
Katina M. Woodruff

I find this website one of the best, and I'm proud to be here.
