54 Year Old Woman Seeks Dental Work Grant To Restore Smile

I want my big smile back!
In the first grade a teacher asked my mom if there were "problems at home." My mom replied, "No. Why?" The teacher exclaimed that I seemed sad.
That story kind of stuck with me. I often wondered, yet knew why she had asked that question. I was sad. I think it was because we had just moved to Florida after my dad died when I was five.
From that time I felt alone and afraid of losing my mom. I would cry myself to sleep many nights. Then when I was 21 my mom became ill.
I cared for here for the next three years. She then passed on which left me very alone with my daughter, then 3.
I ended up being the "caregiver" to not only my daughter but to everyone else I encountered. I never accepted Section 8 or any other government help. I just thought that after I care for everyone else I would then have time for me.
The company I worked for cut their insurance to a less desirable one and made the prices so high that no one could afford it any longer. Then the economy started declining and here I am.
No insurance, teeth that need fixing, a giant tumor on my arm and not making the money I used to.
I am no way saying that I am worse off than probably many others in this world. I am telling a story of my life and just how much I would LOVE to smile again.
I have no friends or family to borrow money from, and I can't get a loan.
I only want to find a dentist to fix my teeth. Somewhere where I can pay a small amount monthly to pay it back.
I spent a lifetime caring for others and forgot about me. I do not regret it I just would LOVE to get my smile back.
I'm 54 and would like to live the rest of my life laughing and smiling. Thanks. Debbie in Miami.
