50 Year Old Double Amputee Seeks Help Helping Others

My Situation
I'm 50 and have had both my legs amputated almost to the hips. I am only able to get around in a power wheelchair.
I live in a rural area and it's very hard for me to go anywhere. Even a doctor's appointment can take days to line up a ride.
I have to depend on others to either go get food for me or take me, which doesn't happen often. I never get out and do things I enjoy anymore so I end up sitting at home most of the time.
I would like to volunteer a few hours a week and help others and be able to help out my family when they need it.
I feel totally helpless and useless right now and I want more than anything to become a useful and helpful part of my community.
