50 Year Old Bipolar Disabled Woman Seeks Government Grant For Home Repairs

by Aleecia
(Tallassee, Alabama, USA)

I am a 50-year-old disabled woman who has put her life in the hands of the Lord. I believe that he has led me to this site to find the relief I need for the work that needs to be done on my home to restore it to its right standing.

I have raised my two children alone except for the help of my disabled mother, a Parkinson's victim, for whom we provided care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, along with their other grandparents who live one street over from me.

We didn't have all the name brand clothes and all the technological things other kids at their school had, but we had each other and lots and lots of love flowed in this house.

They took care of me when I was so depressed that I could not even function and when I was so manic I couldn't get a rational grip on myself. But I finally, with the Lord's help and their love, became stable!

I would so like to be able to do the things to this house that have needed to be done for so long now and make it feel like home again to them when they come here!

I want to give my grandchild, my 1st due in January 2011, a place to come to and feel the memories of love that have been born around her mommy and uncle and their family!

This is a house built on faith and love and perseverance, not materialistic value. I don't want a mansion. I have one waiting for me when I leave this earth.

Please help me give this to my family! May god bless your decision!
