48 Year Old Disabled Marine Seeks Accessible Housing Help And Debt Relief

I'm a 48-year-old 100% disabled Marine. I'm looking for accessible housing help and debt relief.
During the last 20 years, I have had 46 major operations. During the last 10 years my health has gotten worse. I have had to have both hips replaced seven times on each side.
During the last two and a half years my right hip became so infected that they had to remove my hip replacement and my bone hip.
I was left with a hole in my leg, which will not heal. They have tried everything to make my leg heal. Now my two options are to either have my leg removed from the top of my hip or continue to have drainage leak out my leg.
At this point I can barely stand or walk. During the past 10 years I have had to sleep in a hospital bed because I cannot get myself out of bed without assistance.
I have to take sponge baths most of the week, because it is so hard to get my legs over the tub wall.
Without a walker or crutches I cannot walk even with them. I cannot stand for very long due to pain.
If we go out I have to use an electric wheelchair. I have tried to make my house handicap accessible but the only thing that I have done is put my family into more debt.
I am hoping that there is some kind of grant that could help my family so we don't have to live the way we do. Sincerely, George W. Eldridge II.
