40 Year Old Bipolar Disorder Disabled Mother Seeks Education Grant Programs

My induction into Phi Theta Kappa

I am a 40-year-old mother of two teenagers. I am currently separated from my ex-husband.

I was officially diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2000 after many years of being misdiagnosed by doctors.

The bipolar disorder makes it hard for me to concentrate and focus on life.

It also makes it hard for me to control my emotions when I am not medicated.

I am currently on medication that is helping me deal with the effects of this disorder.

I have trouble supporting myself on SSI. My rent is $350 a month; I also have to pay my own utilities.

I'm a full time college student, majoring in Information Technology and maintaining a 4.0 grade point average.

As a full time college student, I need a computer and a vehicle to get me back and forth to college on a daily basis.

I am looking for education grant programs for my education related expenses.
