38 Year Old Mom Seeks Education Grant Money For Self And Son

I am 38 years old and my husband and I are on SSI, but I have had to go to food pantries and clothing closets and anything else it took to care for my family.
We have sold all our personal belongings we could to make ends meet because of all this. Our bills I have tried to consolidate, which I did twice.
I have also had to make repairs to my home such as painting, flooring and that is not completely finished. My roof leaks in my storage room on rainy days and I'm trying to get that fixed now.
As of now I did graduate college with two associates and two certificates but cannot use under the SSI marriage penalty law. I am stuck between a rock and hard place.
I want to go back to school in the fall but if I do not get living expense help such as paying off my loans and getting the materials I need I cannot because my son will also be attending.
So it is him or me on who will go. I will give up on furthering my own education to allow him the ability to go.
I did not expect to have to be in this place I am now and wish I could go back and change it before it happened. I have tried to get SSI to change their laws.
I also have a 14-year-old daughter who should see that when she is ready for college that her opportunities will be there and not limited because of having trouble getting money to attend college and also be able to care for herself.
So this is why I need $20,000 to pay off my car, and two consolidation loans and have money put up for my household. I need a living expenses grant of some sort.
