My name is Tricia Lawson. I had a car accident in 2008 that herniated a disk in my neck and two in my back, which caused me to be disabled.
It has caused me to not be able to do the things I used to do like fun things with my daughter. And I cannot keep up with all my medical and other bills I have.
I have severe pain in my back, left leg and neck every day and try to do what I can, which is very hard.
I go to the doctor's a lot to try and find some way to ease the pain but so far it has not worked.
I found out after I went for an MRI after the accident that I had a mass in my pelvis and a mass in my neck. The mass in my neck turned out to be cancer on my thyroid and my vascular and the mass in my pelvic was a tumor on my ovary.
I have had four surgeries done from December 2008 to October of 2009. The surgeries were to remove my thyroid completely, remove an ovary and back surgery.
I also had to go through radioactive iodine treatment for the cancer I had and I have to keep being checked every year to make sure it has not returned.
It has been a really rough life for me since the accident and I feel like I will never be caught up on medical or other bills.
It has been really rough on my daughter too to see her mom go through what I have gone through and it's not over yet.
I will never be the same again and that really affects her. I am trying to make her life a normal one but its really hard when I can't do what I used to be able to do and I am always struggling to make sure things are paid.
