35 Year Old Obesity Disabled Woman Seeks Government Grant For Scooter

(Panama City, Florida, USA)
I am a 35-year-old native of Panama City, Florida. I'm looking for a government grant to get an electric scooter for greater mobility.
My sweet husband of six years, Christopher, and I are struggling to raise his three sons from his first marriage. They are absolutely wonderful boys, ages 15, 10, and 9.
I have been disabled for two years. I was diagnosed with blood clots, depression, anxiety, severe obesity, and advanced Rheumatoid arthritis.
We have been scraping by barely. I get to see my doctor, but my husband's insurance from his work refuses to pay for any more than six doctor visits a year.
And with these issues I have to see my doctors regularly at a minimum of one to two times a month.
Also I am under doctor-supervised dieting trying to lose weight. I beat myself up every day that I am so fat. But I know I do not want to die now!
I have finally met my white knight and was given the chance to be a mother, stepmother, but mother no less.
I sit in my room and cry a lot when the boys are asleep because I am very afraid I won't live to see them develop into men.
My family has a history of severe obesity, diabetes, heart problems, and stroke. My biological father is extremely obese. I grew up with really off-core beliefs regarding food and how to handle it. I don't want this to continue!
Chris and I have really been working hard to change how I eat, what I eat, and making certain to stick to the doctor's orders.
There are days and weeks I do not go anywhere because I cannot stand or sit for more then a few minutes here and there.
My legs, feet, and fingers swell and turn blue. Or the swelling comes and I lose feeling in my arms and fingers. It's embarrassing!
I am trying with the assistance of my doctors, Dr. Bernier, Dr. Brelin, Dr. Rameriez, and Dr. Fernandez to get better.
It's slow going but I have met the prerequisites for the gastric bypass surgery three times, and either by the facility or doctor refusing me or by my husband's insurance refusing me I have never managed to get there.
I am not giving up. I will continue to diet. But I know I have to have some sort of assistance.
Please if there is anyway someone could help me to get an electric scooter it would increase my mobility enormously.
I would be able to take my children to ride their bikes, and go with my family grocery shopping.
It would be a breath of fresh air and help me to increase my strength to be able to stand longer and work up to where I can function. Please consider me.
I was recently diagnosed with severe Sleep Apnea. I am on the breathing machine when I sleep and I am finally able to get a night's rest. Usually I toss and turn because I cannot breath. It had gotten to the point where I was trying to sleep sitting up.
If there is any way you can possibly see how I might get a personal grant so I can get a scooter and a ramp? It would be greatly appreciated! Thank you and God bless you! Rhea Cutler.
