31 Year Old Single Mother Fears Eviction And Seeks Housing Assistance

I'm a single mother (31) with two boys: Tyron 3 and Issaiah 13. My 13-year-old has been living with cerebellar ataxia (rare condition) since he was eight months old and the downfall for this disorder is too long of a list to name.
I have been working full-time jobs before my first son was born. He received Social Security benefits till May 2008. The reason it stopped is that I got a raise at work and for putting in overtime.
I could not receive assistance due to my income being $26,000 a year. I tried to survive but it's hard paying $900 for rent $400 for daycare, $400 for food.
I have tried all avenues and no luck... Section 8, HUD, food stamps, my income is just too high for help?
As far as their fathers are concerned, Tyron's father was put in jail for trying to provide for his son not the right way, but he did pay for most of what his son needed but I don't have that anymore. Unfortunately Issaiah's father passed away when he was very young.
I'm now in the process of getting evicted for the first time from a slum landlord. I would reach out to my family but I was a ward of the state at the age six so that's a dead end.
I'm scared and alone. Please help.
