31 Year Old Mom Seeks Career Building Government Education Grant

by Kathleen Toliver
(Columbia, SC, USA)

I am 31 years old, a wife, and a mother of four children and one stepson. I have been unemployed for the last year and a half.

Since I was 18 I have always maintained a job but never one I could see doing for the rest of my life.

After my last job relocated to another state I used that time to be a stay at home mom. While my kids certainly enjoy that I am able to do much more.

At first I thought I was too old to go to school but I realize better now than never. I want my children to see you can have anything you want in life as long as you set goals and work towards them.

I know I can achieve greatness and going to school to become a computer engineer is my heart's desire. I have applied to the Midlands Tech here in Columbia, SC.

With the economy not being at its best, many financial obstacles have occurred. Please help me get grant, as it would be very helpful to have the assistance.

I know I am one of a billion people asking but hopefully I could be one of the ones that get helped.

I really want to go to school and still provide for my household. Please consider me when you go through your request.

I thank you for the time that you have taken to read this.
