31 Year Old Disabled Army Veteran Seeks Grant Money To Avert Eviction

by Craig
(Springfield, Missouri, USA)

Me in Uniform

I am a 31-year-old single male. I spent almost 5 years in the army, and was medically discharged due to several injuries. I got out as a Sergeant.

I have a spinal cord injury in my lower back and neck. I have many other injuries I am still going through the process of dealing with the VA about.

I am finding it hard to keep up with my rent every month, due to being unemployed for 6 months.

I have limited myself due to the difficulties to only being able to pay rent, phone and Internet, and leaving the rest of my bills for when I finally get a job.

Even with only limiting myself to those 3, I still find it hard to keep up with everything, especially rent, which I am behind on.

I have been constantly searching for jobs for the last 6 months, and since I have been unemployed I receive a very small stipend weekly for unemployment.

I am just looking for any kind of help with my rent so I won't get kicked out and taken to court.

Thank you for reading this and for any help.
