27 Year Old Disabled College Student Seeks Vehicle Repair Money

by Cheryl Basenback
(Orlando, Florida)

My name is Cheryl Basenback and I am a 27-year-old college student with a 4.0 GPA.

About a month ago my car head gasket blew and I am not able to get around. No one will help me.

I have high rent, no food in my home and there are a lot of nights I go without food or heat.

I need help. I can't get around and if I can't get around I will be forced to drop out of school. College was a lifelong dream of mine and it's slipping out of my hands.

My grandparents have gone broke and messed up their credit to help me get this far. I just don't want them to have done it for nothing.

Please help me. I am not asking for a handout I just need a push. I am a good hardworking young lady that just needs a break to get back on track.

I do not want to drop out of school. Thanks for listening to my story. I hope someone out there is hearing me and can help me. Thanks so much.

Help with auto
by: Anonymous

Don't give up on school. Do you have a Salvation Army or a Center that helps people? Go there. Some of them will provide up to $400 to fix your auto.

Also go to the Department of Human Services to get some help with food. They may also be able to help you with your auto repairs.
