24 Year Old Single Mother Seeks Government Grant Money For Debt Relief

by Hayley Tucker
(Durhamville, NY, USA)

I am a single 24-year-old mother with four children. I'm sitting here wondering if I am doing the best that I can and how I can get debt relief.

I'm stressing out every day wondering how I am going to get my son back and forth to school with a van that is likely to break down at any point.

My son has to go to the heart doctors monthly and I have all my doctors' appointments myself.

I am living with my grandmother for the time being. I was recently told that I couldn't work due to my health, so here we go just more stress to add onto my plate.

I am trying to do my best to make ends meet and to make sure my children are happy, but sometimes I sit at night crying because I feel like a failure to not only myself but to my children.

They ask me all the time when we can go get our own place and I keep telling them soon. In reality I feel like I am lying to them and it hurts so bad.

All I ever wanted was for my kids to be happy and have a better life than I did growing up.

I am not asking anyone to feel sorry for me. I just need a little help to show my kids that we can have our own place and be happy.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this. If anyone could point me to sources of debt relief, I would be so appreciative.
