22 Year Old Disabled Woman Seeks Government Grant Money For Necessities

by Brittany Denise Stevens
(Pikeville, KY, USA)

My name is Brittany and I am a 22-year-old disabled woman. I have an extremely bad knee, back and neck.

I am a month behind on my electric bill, which is $200 a month, and I have a truck payment of $100 a month.

Along with items I have pawned in the pawn shop through the month just to get by with gas and food, I have to keep paying the fees on the items to get them to hold them until I get money to pick them up.

Then that bill just builds up even more. I get $35 a month in food stamps and a total of $694 a month for Social Security and SSI to help out.

I also have to give money for rent. After paying all my bills and almost filling my truck up, there's no money left over afterwards. I don't know what to do to catch up. I need help.

I'm not able to get out and make money for myself on my own. I do the best with what I got and it may not be much but I really need help catching up on my bills and also possibly giving my truck a tune up.

It's hard having to sometimes sacrifice your phone bill money just to buy deodorant, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc., but that stuff has to be bought.

To whoever gets this, if you can help me out any way you can, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for pointing me toward government grants or any other sort of help.
