100 Percent Disabled Veteran Seeks Help For Fraudulent Loan And Stolen Van

by Sonja West
(Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, USA)

Hello, my name is Sonja West. I'm seeking help for my husband to recover from a fraudulent loan and stolen van.

My husband is a 100% service connected, totally and permanently disabled veteran. He has been a member of the Legion for approximately 10 years.

We are staying at La Quinta in Broken Arrow while we deal with the Bank of America on the fraudulent VA home Loan.

To make matters worse, his 1993 GMC Vandura with the Explorer Kit was stolen this past June 23, 2011 while parked at La Quinta.

He had saved while in the service to buy this vehicle so we could travel the USA for retirement. Do know of any car lots that help veterans? If so, could you please advise?

My husband has done so much to help other Disabled Veterans. He brought many claims and Veterans to the Federal Building Offices in Muskogee.

Burl might remember him, though my husband worked a lot with Mike. My husband is Greg West, a member of the USS Batfish Post.

He implemented a plan and presented it to General Rufus Forrest when Katrina hit our coast. General Forrest approved of my husband's plan.

With the VFW Un-Met Needs Funds and its business sponsor, Vermont Power Tool Accessories, my husband worked day and night to bring relief to those Veterans affected by Katrina.

He had an office given him at Camp Gruber and disbursed over $25,000 there. He arranged for trainloads, truckloads and air deliveries of water, clothes etc.

He coordinated with Oklahoma Emergency Management, Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Officers at both Camp Gruber and Ft. Chaffee.

He contacted many state, local and rural officials all over Oklahoma with his efforts. He has NEVER once asked for recognition for this work.

More often than not, the work had him and myself running into the night at all hours when OEM would call after locating a Veteran that had been taken in by a family.

Now he himself needs help with the fraudulent VA Loan written by the Bank of America. Documents were forged with my signature, and he was "sold" property in three different states!

That Van was our only vehicle and without it, we are basically stranded here at the La Quinta Tulsa South (Broken Arrow at 129th & 52nd).

I may be reached through the hotel. Thank you for ANY consideration you might show in this situation.

Sincerely,

Sonja West

Damn banks! Also, this La Quinta motel should be held accountable in some way.
